Donating

There are lots of ways to donate to OVC and the OVCAA, be it through a gift of your time, talents or money:

• Volunteer with the OVCAA as a member of the board of directors, or mentor for current veterinary students. For more information visit our Volunteering page.
• Help out with an OVCAA event or alumni reunion as an alumni volunteer. Check out our calendar of upcoming events on the OVCAA homepage.
• Get involved with the OVC 150th Anniversary celebrations. It's never too late to join in and lend a hand, or simply send us a story! Find all the details on the OVC 150 Years website.

Monetary donations help with many important initiatives at OVC and the University of Guelph. Donations to the OVCAA are used to support student awards, particular projects specified by the donor(s), and events and activities that help the OVCAA accomplish its Mission. You can direct your gift to any (or many) of these other great causes. For more information about ways of giving, click here. Donations to any of these areas can be made easily online through the OVC Donations page or the University of Guelph BetterPlanet Project website using the drop-down menus. Class Gifts are also a long-standing tradition at OVC, and can be directed to particular causes, equipment or infrastructure that you and your classmates feel are important. NEW Equine Guelph -OEF "War Horse" Welfare Education Fund

In celebration of 'War Horse', a special fund has been created in the name of equine welfare education - the Equine Guelph-OEF ‘War Horse’ Welfare Education Fund. Funds will be directed to the development of new welfare education programs by Equine Guelph for the horse industry.

There are three different ways you can contribute to this special fund:

1. Make a Donation directlu through the Equine Guelph website (click here).
2. If you are an Ontario Equine Federation (OEF) member, purchase a ticket to Mirvish's production of "War Horse" between Feb 10-May 6, 2012, and $10 will be donated to the fund. For details, and the special benefit code, visit the Equine Guelph website.
3. Join us for the Equine Guelph Gala Fundraiser on March 8, 2012, and enjoy premium seats as well as a pre-show reception and backstage tour of "War Horse."
