OVC Advisory Council
Membership
- Appointed by the President of the University on the recommendation of the Dean's Council.
- The Chair and Vice-Chair shall be elected by the members of this Council for a three year term and may be renewed for one term.
Officers
- Secretariat: Assistant to the Dean
Term of Office
- For three years, renewable for one term.
Meetings
- Initially there will be two meetings per year. Additional meetings will be held as agreed upon by this Council with the Dean.
Agenda
- The Agenda will be drawn up by the Chair and the Dean.
Duties
- Serves as an advisory body to the Dean of the Ontario Veterinary College on all activities in which the College normally engages
- Acts as a reflector of public opinion and keeps the Dean informed of reactions and developments outside the College, which could affect the success of the College activities
- Pays substantial attention to assisting and advising the Dean on financial matters including fund-raising and on the provision of facilities for teaching, research and extension/service programs
- Comment on any other matters that they care to.
Note: Travel expenses will be offered, but no remuneration will be paid.
