OVC's Small Animal Clinic is a referral facility focusing on companion animal care. The Large Animal Clinic is a referral facility for Ontario's $2-billion equine industry. Our veterinarians (in a wide range of specialties, from anesthesiology to zoo medicine) operate on a service team concept. Each clinical service team consists of a faculty member or staff veterinarian, a DVSc student working toward an advanced degree in a clinical specialty, an intern, and during the academic year, a number of final year students completing their clinical rotations.
