hours for OVC Health Sciences Centre
The Ontario Veterinary
College's normal business hours will be reduced for the holidays until Monday,
January 4, 2016. Most University of Guelph offices will be closed during this
administrative offices will reopen on January 4 and classes for veterinary
students resume on Jan. 4.
The OVC Health Sciences
Centre, including the Companion Animal and Large Animal Clinics, and the Farm Service Clinic, will be open for emergencies and
urgent cases only from 4:30 p.m. December 24 to 8 am on January 4.

We are starting renovations to our Large Animal Hospital Admissions area
that will help us to serve our clients better. These renovations will begin on March 18, 2015
During the renovations, our Large Animal Hospital Admissions will move to Room 1529
in the Large Animal Hospital. The Large Animal patient drop-off will remain in its current location. We will post signage to direct clients.
If clients arrive after hours with an emergency, signage will direct them to enter the regular Large Hospital Admissions entrance. There is an emergency phone on the wall with instructions to reach on-call hospital staff.
note: Effective Monday, January 26, 2015, the new entrance to the Companion
Animal Hospital will be open.
We are happy
to let you know that renovations to the OVC
Companion Animal Hospital are complete. Effective Monday, January 26, 2015,
clients can enter the hospital through our new front entrance, located just
west of the P64 parking lot.
There are patient
drop off spots and metered parking spots available at the front of the
Companion Animal Hospital. This includes emergency cases.
If you have
an appointment at the Animal Cancer Centre, you can enter through their front
entrance. Patient drop off spots and metered parking continue to be available
at the front of the Animal Cancer Centre.

If you arrive
after hours with an emergency, there is a phone in the Companion Animal
Hospital front entrance area that will connect you to hospital staff.
parking continues to be available in P64, adjacent to the Companion Animal
Hospital. If clients anticipate
they will need assistance to bring their pet into the hospital from this
parking area, they are asked to please contact the Companion Animal Hospital
and staff will assist them.
