Have you accidentally deleted a file that represents months of hard work? If it's on the C drive, there's always the Recycle Bin, but on network drives (U:\ and V:\), there is a different (and in some ways, better) method. The server that holds our network data makes snapshots of what your folders looked like at various times, and stores them for a while.
Right-click (context) on the folder that once contained the objects you need to get back, and select [Properties]. In there, there's a tab labelled [Previous Versions]. Just open the timed set you want, and copy the files back to where they were.

Click on "View", and copy your files or folders to the same or a new location.

If the files you want were deleted 4 days to 2 months ago, you can ask to have them restored via the CCS Restore Request page. The same web site can be used to restore deleted e-mails.
Due to space restrictions, CCS is unable to save backups older than 2 months. If you have requirements to back up data with a retention of more than 2 months, you will have to make periodic copies to CD, DVD, or external USB drive.
