Congratulations on your acceptance to the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC)!!!

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program and to wish you much success over the next four years.

Orientation

Orientation begins Monday September 3, 2012 (Labour Day) at 8:30am in the Lifetime Learning Centre at OVC. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so that we can sign you in and give you some necessary information.

 

Important Information:

• CLASS COLOUR AND MASCOT VOTING - will take place Tuesday September 4th, 2012.

On Monday September 3rd (your first day of Orientation), the Orientation Chairs will be accepting ballots until 3:00PM. You can choose to submit a class colour, a class animal or an animal colour combination for consideration. An e-mail will be sent out Monday night to the class with all the suggestions. On Tuesday September 4th, discussion and voting will take place.

Your choice must not be a colour or an animal used in the last four years. Below are the colours and animals that are not available: 2015 Scarlet Stags, 2014 Emerald Elephants, 2013 Golden Phoenixes, and 2012 Silver Foxes.

• You should also visit the Current DVM Student site for additional information about your next four years here at OVC. Class schedules can be found on this site.
• Merchandise Order Form - Please print out these forms and bring them with you to Orientation on Wednesday September 5th, 2012. If cash - exact change only please. If cheques - please make payable to "OVC 2015."
• Teaching Horse Environmental Enrichment Program Participation Form - Please read, print and fill out this form before your Teaching Horse Environmental Enrichment Program orientation. The dates for each groups' tour can be found via the "September - Overview" link.
• Resident Cat Environmental Enrichment Program Information Form - Please read this form before your Resident Cat Environmental Enrichment orientation. The dates for each groups' tour can be found via the "September - Overview" link.
