Wed. Feb. 1st, MCB Distinguished Speaker Series, Prof. Ross Cagan, Department of Developmental and Regenerative Biology, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, will discuss "A Fly Approach to Cancer and Diabetes Therapeutics", 12:30 pm, Animal Science and Nutrition, Room 156.

Feb. 2nd, Connect to Innovate Discussion, Dr. Kevin Hall, Vice-President (research), gives the keynote presentation at an Ontario Economic Summit (OES) workshop being held at the Delta Guelph hotel. The event is designed to bring university, community and business leaders together to discuss how to develop a culture of innovation in Ontario, 8 am, Delta Hotel.

Feb. 6th, Deadline for Abstracts, Global Development Symposium held on May 6-9. Symposium themes are; Theme 1: Global Public Health; Theme 2: Food Security and Health; Theme 3: Empowering communities for change.
