The next screen summarizes the selections made (with a reminder of the dosebroad dose range) and reports the dose in the units selected (e.g., mg) as well as the number of mL required if the bottle concentration was entered on the Trade Name page of the database.
Calculations for infusions can also be made. This screen not only provides the number of mL/min and mL/hr, but the drops in 10 seconds if the solution is given by mixing in a buretrol or fluid bag (standard drip sets of 10 and 60 drops per mL are used).
