Standing: Restrain with pressure against pen wall or gate
Maintain restraint using your legs and place some pressure on back (elbow) as suitable site for injection is palpated.
Insert needle (close to perpendicular entry), withdraw if IV injection is a concern before injecting into muscle

Sitting: Lift sheep up by grabbing fleece.
Flip hind legs out, sit sheep down-rarely struggle in this position
Use your legs to steady animal (pressure with knees) while palpating for suitable injection site.
Insert needle (close to perpendicular entry), withdraw if IV injection is a concern before injecting into muscle
Return sheep to a sternal position for it to stand.
