Pet Loss Hotline

Welcome

We are a group of University of Guelph students who are trained to listen and support a caller experiencing grief. We provide a non-judgmental forum in which a caller can express feeling and concerns surrounding the loss of their pet. We also provide a resource for information regarding pet loss, euthanasia and memorialization of their pet.

An answering service is available outside regular hotline hours

The Hotline operates regularly from September to April each year. During the summer months, volunteers who reside in Guelph check messages and return phone calls when possible. The answering service message is changed to explain to callers that we do not have regular operating hours in the summer.
