Resources

There are many resources for International students in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program. We have support in place to make the move to Guelph work for you.

We have an International Peer Helper who can answer your questions and help you with your transition from applicant to student veterinarian, and everything in between. To connect with the International Peer Helper email Elizabeth Lowenger at lowenger@uoguelph.ca.

In addition to the Intenational Student Handbook, which provides information for International Students, we are happy to connect with you to discuss applying to OVC as well as financial options including student loans for American students, loan information for International students as well as awards, scholarships and bursaries.

To find out tips, visit our International Student page where you can download a copy of the handbook and download the International Student Information sheet.

You'll need a 'student Visa' in order to study here as well.
