International applicants are eligible for one of the 15 seats and must not hold Canadian citizenship (this includes dual citizenship) or Permanent Resident status. The admissions academic requirements and non-academic requirements for non-Canadian applicants are the same as those for Canadian residents except for Ontario residency. The minimum average GPA for the eight prerequisite courses and for the last two full time semesters must be 3.2 or higher on a four point scale.
US applicants can apply after they have completed their sophomore year of post-secondary studies, provided they have met all the requirements. They do not have to complete their undergraduate degree.
International applicants submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores in lieu of MCAT scores. The code for GRE scores is 0892.
Applicants who receive an offer of admission should be aware that they must meet federal immigration requirements for entry into Canada as a student.
