OVC Graduate Student Research Symposium

The Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) is pleased to announce our 2024 Graduate Student Research Symposium. The Symposium showcases the fantastic work that OVC graduate students are doing across all four departments to continue to advance scientific research in animal, human, and environmental health and their many intersections.

The event will be held in person and will include a speaker panel, posters, and 12-minute oral presentation sessions. We will have four Best Presentation Awards (first and second place for oral presentations, and first and second place for poster presentations) determined by presentation judges.

Abstract Submission 

Students can give oral presentations (12 minutes + 3 minutes of questions) or present a poster. Planning committee members will review abstracts and assign time slots. We will do our best to accommodate preferences but note that time and poster space limited, and students may not be assigned their first choice. Students will also be asked to select the most appropriate topic theme at the time of submission. 

Abstract submission is now open and must be completed by Friday, June 7th at 11:59PM via our online form.
